Tom Hennesy recalls: " ...getting Dennis Hopper and Nick Adams to buy the house on Canyonside Road so you guys could move to Alturas." We outgrew the adobe house and moved into this one on Canyonside Road - it had a large view window where you could see the smog in the pasadena valley below. The canyon was deep and was right off the back yard - John liked it the best. We boys liked to smash red ants with dad's hammers on the road out front.
